Lime and Coffee Caipirinha

The barista at the Coffee Museum, in Santos, Brazil, shared a delicious caipirinha recipe with lime and coffee with the readers of Brazilian Wave.

Ingredients:

  • 40 ml espresso coffee
  • 120 ml of cachaça
  • ½ lime cut into 4 pieces (remove the middle part)
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar

Utensils:

  • 1 cup 200 ml
  • 1 martini glass
  • Ice

To decorate:

  • 2 lime slices

Instructions:

  • Put the sugar and the 4 pieces of lime in the glass and lightly mash it.
  • Then add the cachaça, and 4 cubes of ice. Close it up and shake it until the glass sweats.
  • Open it up and pour it in a glass with ice and two lime slices. Add the coffee and stir.
